Pam Karmazsin, LCSW, LCADC specializes in individual and couples therapy for both mental health and substance use concerns. With over 20 years of diversified experience in the fields of education, business, and government service, Pam brings a broad perspective to the field of behavioral health. She has worked with individuals, families, and groups in a community mental health center as a specialist focused on helping people with co-occurring disorders of mental health and substance use problems. Pam now has a private practice in Morristown serving individuals and couples that seek help with managing anxiety, depression, substance use or other addictive behaviors. She creates a warm and safe environment for these issues to be addressed.

Pam is a graduate of Rutgers University and has earned EdM, MBA, and MSW degrees. She focused on the treatment of co-occurring disorders of mental health and substance use in her work in the Masters of Social Work program at Rutgers School of Social Work.

Pam is a client-centered therapist who helps people reach their full potential by forming a supportive relationship based on active listening, accepting, and understanding. As an equal partner in the therapeutic relationship, she encourages clients to set individual goals for change and supports them as they experience personal growth at their own pace.
